Juicing for me was such an easy way to incorporate more fresh fruit and vegetables into my diet. I started to notice the benefits almost instantly like feeling better, happier mood, glowing skin and weight loss.
Let's look at the step by step process and great tips on how to get juicing...
1) Always wash your produce thoroughly
Wash off any dirt or pesticides, ideally looking at purchasing organic fruit and vegetables. There has been a lot of videos washing apples in boiling water to get rid of the wax coating.
2) Cut up your produce so that it will fit in your juicer or blender
Cutting your produce into smaller pieces will make it easier for your juicer to juice the ingredients.
3) Run all ingredients through
Send all ingredients through your juicer and let it work it's magic. You can add water through to get a more liquid consistency.
4) Serve juice at room temperature or place in the fridge to chill
Sometimes a feel like a delicious cold beverage, I will let my juice chill in the fridge. You can also add ice cod water or sparkling water to serve quicker.
5) Clean juicer/blender straight away as it is easier to clean
If you leave the pulp in the juicer/blender it hardens and becomes a lot more difficult to clean. I find a quick rinse after you make your juice will make your life a lot easier.
