Juice Diet Plan 

This plan is all about organization! Ideally, start the plan at the weekend or when you have a couple of days off work, this will give you time to prepare some of your meals and juices ahead of time. 

When I´m dieting or detoxing I like to prep 2 or 3 days worth of meals or juices into Tupperware containers for ease. It´s also worth mentioning that juices should be drunk within a few hours, although the lemon juice will help stop the juices turning brown. 

You´ll notice in the plan every day you will eat 2 meals and consume 3 juices. One of your meals every day will be breakfast as I feel it really is the most important meal of the day. When I was creating this plan I felt very light headed when I skipped breakfast. 

However, if you are one of those people who doesn't eat breakfast and feel more hunger later on in the day you may choose to have your breakfast at dinner time instead. It is however very important to consume the majority of your calories in the first part of the day so you can burn them off. 

Along with the recipes in the plan, drink plenty of water - at least 2 litres. Herbal tea and a couple of lemon and mint infused hot waters per day are also allowed. 

If you are struggling with the diet plan and feel like giving up because you are hungry try and drinking more water or eat some fruit. 

Juice Diet Plan

1 Week - Juice Weight Loss Plan 

Day 1

We´re going to start the one-week weight loss plan with a complete detox and cleanse of the body. This will give you a great head start on your weight loss journey.

A detox will help cleanse the body of all toxins and help get vital organs working efficiently again which in turn will really help aid weight loss. 

Day 2

So after your day of juice detox I'm sure you will be ready for some carbs! We´re going to add food back into your diet slowly and with minimal fat. 

You will also notice none of these recipes contains dairy or meat, I have specifically done this to continue detoxing the body. Trust me you will feel fab by the end of this week and your body will be certainly less a few pounds!

Start the day with 1 pint of lemon infused hot water to get the metabolism going. 


  • Chia Pudding


  • 40g chia seeds
  • 350mls water
  • Handful of blueberries
  • Half a medium banana 


Mix 40g of Chia Seeds with 350mls of water.

Leave to soak for 15 - 20 minutes. 

When the seeds are no longer crunchy mix in blueberries and banana.

Mid Morning Snack



  • Avocado Salsa Rice Cakes 
  • 1 Avocado 
  • Handful of cherry tomatoes 
  • Half a lime or Lemon
  • Half a red onion
  • 4 rice cakes


Cut Avocado in half and remove stone. Cube avocado flesh with a knife and scoop into a mixing bowl with a spoon so that the avocado remains in square pieces. 

Dice onion into edible pieces and chuck into bowl. Depending on personal preference use all or some of the red onion!

Halve the cherry tomatoes and chuck in the bowl.

Squeeze in your lemon or lime and give the mixture a good stir, season, and scoop on top of rice cakes!



Camomile tea

Day 3

Drink 1 pint of hot water infused with lemon.


Apple crumble overnight oats

  • 50g oats
  • 150ml water
  • 1 apple 
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon 
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 
  • 2 teaspoons agave syrup 
  • Either finely chop or blend apple.


Mix oats and water, then add cinnamon, nutmeg apple and agave.

Cover and refrigerate overnight. 

Mid Morning Snack





Try to eat this as early as possibly, ideally at least 4 hours before going to bed.

Quinoa Salad...

  • g of cooked quinoa 
  • Handful of sunflower seeds
  • Handful of spinach leaves
  • Half an avocado 
  • Handful of cherry tomatos
  • Half a cucumber 


Prepare all the ingredients and mix together in a large bowl and serve.

Finish the day off with a nice herbal tea, ideally camomile for a good nights sleep!

Day 4

Again start the day with a pint of hot water infused with a slice or squeeze of lemon 


  • Chia Pudding
  • Ingredients
  • 40g chia seeds
  • 350mls water
  • Handful of mango pieces - frozen or fresh
  • Half a medium banana 
  • 1 tablespoon of desiccated (dried) coconut 


Mix Chia Seeds and coconut with 350mls of water.

Leave to soak for 15 - 20 minutes. 

When the seeds are no longer crunchy mix in mango and banana.

Mid morning snack



  • Sweet potato with greens 
  • 1 small/medium sweet potato 
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 2 handfuls of kale
  • 3 tablespoons of mushrooms
  • 1 clove of garlic

Bake sweet potato at 180 degrees fan for roughly 40 minutes or until soft. 

Sauté spinach, kale, mushrooms and garlic in a little coconut oil for around 5 minutes. Try to avoid over cooking as the nutrients will begin to diminish. 

Serve together and enjoy!



Finish the day again with a soothing herbal tea. 

Day 5

You guessed it... start with 1 pint of lemon infused hot water!


  • 50g oats
  • 200 ml water
  • Handful of blueberries


Cover the oats with water 

Cook oats on a medium heat until cooked.

Remove from heat, serve and chuck in the blueberries 

Mid morning juice



  • Watercress soup & rice cakes 
  • 2 onions
  • 200g watercress
  • Quarter of a medium cauliflower 
  • 1 liter vegetable stock
  • 1 clove of garlic 
  • 2x rice cakes 

Fry off the onion and garlic in a little coconut oil

Add cauliflower and cook on a medium heat for 5 minutes

Pour in stock, bring to the boil then reduce heat to a gentle simmer for 20 minutes

Add the watercress and return to the heat for 5 minutes

Remove the pot from the stove, leave to cool a little then carefully liquidize. 

Consume only 1 portion of soup with 2 rice cakes. Refrigerate or freeze the remainder of the soup.

¨Detoxing¨ may be a trendy word to the rich, famous and beautiful instagramers of the world however it isn´t a new concept. In fact detoxing has been a process partaken by humans for centuries

So why is it so important to detox?

For many of us, the average modern day lifestyle usually means daily stress´s, pollutants and toxins in the air we breathe, the water we wash in and drink from and the food we eat. It means junk food, sugar, too much alcohol, smoking and probably not enough sleep. Our lifestyle can take a huge toll on our body, and not just on the outside making us look fatigued but more importantly on the inside, this in turn leading to health problems such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease. 

Let´s not get disheartened though... there is a solution....

A regular juice detox plan can really help to cleanse the blood and tissues of toxins, while providing essential nutrients and nourishment for your body. Juices are particularly effective in cleansing the digestive system which can help aid or kick start weight loss. A juice cleanse or detox is particularly beneficial for the liver, kidneys, digestive system and colon mainly because of the raw nutrients. Mother natures remedies at their finest... fruit and veggies! 

!! Alkaline our bodies and fight cancer 

One of the single most important things we must learn in todays society and in order to fight disease such as cancer is Alkaline Living. It is so very important and not many of us know about it. Like all living things we have a PH balance, between and and alkaline. We should be more acid than alkaline however over-acidity occurs in most of our bodies because we eat too much protein, sweet, fatty and processed foods. This has been linked to a weakening of the immune system, fatigue, and the overgrowth of the parasitic yeast known as Candida albicans. Juices really help to re establish a crucial PH balance within the body. 

How often should we detox?

Now this is purely down to personal opinion but I would suggest a juice cleanse at least 1-2 times per year.

How to prepare

It is a good idea got start your detox plan at the weekend or on a day off. This gives you time to relax properly, sleep if you like and really just get into swing of things. If you decide to partake in the one week vitality plan you may have to buy and cook some of the recipes ahead of time to make things easier for the week. Remember the plans are guidelines, which you can adapt and suit to yourself. 

Many people find that a juice detox gives them more energy, better looking skin, hair and nails. During the one day juice plan you will undoubtedly feel hunger pangs which hopefully you can overcome, it may help to drink water and remember it is only one day you can get through it! You may also feel moody and even tired, if you are used to drinking tea or coffee you may develop a headache which indicates your body is having withdrawal symptoms. During the longer one week vitality plan you may experience more changes. The most common ones are unexplained mood swings, a blow up of blemishes and even headaches but these indicate your body eliminating the toxins from your body efficiently. All these symptoms should clear up within 2-3 days into the plan and will you will 100 times better by the end from all the goodness being put back into your body, 

A word of warning..

Juice detox´s should not be used as a regular or permanent diet as they are too restrictive of certain food types. The best way to maintain weight after a detox is to eat a clean balanced diet involving 1 or 2 juices a day maximum. 

You should avoid intense sports and exercise whilst on a juice detox, instead treat your body to gentle workouts like yoga, walking or meditation. 

During both plans avoid smoking, alcohol, caffeine, dairy products, chocolate, sugar, meat products and wheat. 

Children, the elderly those with diabetes or recovering from illness should not follow a detox program without first seeking professional advice from a Dr or healthcare provider.
