Pretty impressive I´d say, not only that but kale also has high amounts of Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Magnesium and Iron. These types of essential vitamins and minerals, especially magnesium, can be hard to get into your diet so with such a high density in only 1 serving, Kale is definitely one vegetable we all should be eating!

High in Protein and Fiber

Just 1 cup serving of kale gives you 5% of your daily recommended allowance of kale and over 4% of your recommended daily protein intake. This is particularly high compared to some other vegetables. Fiber is key to have daily and by eating foods that are high in fiber it can help you lose weight. 

Good Source of Minerals

It can be difficult to maintain healthy levels of certain minerals. Magnesium, for example, is found in only a few food types - kale and other green leafy vegetables being one of them. In 1 cup of kale, you will intake around 6% of your recommended daily allowance, which makes it a fairly good source of magnesium. Kale is also high in manganese, potassium, Iron, calcium, folate and Thiamine.

Part of your body's way of fighting infections, disease and injury are to naturally cause inflammation, through increasing your white blood cells, funnily enough, this isn´t always bad thing.

Kale is an excellent antioxidant, mainly due to the high amounts of Vitamin C and Carotenoids found in the vegetable.
