Raw food living means mainly eating plant foods, and let me tell you the options are endless!

There are literally thousands of fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouts out there to chose from, all with different health benefits.

They also have their own unique flavors and some work really well in juices due to their high water content.

When began eating raw and living only on a plant based diet, I was surprised to see the amount of foods I hadn't even tried!

Let's have a look at these raw ingredients and start preparing your raw food shopping list!

The main ingredients are going to be your fruits and vegetables. But.. did you know how many different options there are out there? Now I know your local grocery store might not have all of them and some have to be in season but there is a wide variety to choose from!

You need to try to eat as many of these foods as possible as variety is the spice of life. Try them in meals but also when you create your juices.

The great thing is on their own all can be eaten as quick and easy raw snacks, or incorporated together using the recipes to create raw and clean delicious meals

Food combining is also something to consider when meal planning.
