Here are some of my favorites, they are easy-to-prepare and they definitely hit the spot!

Raw Food Breakfast 

Berrylicious Chia Pud

Raw Food Breakfast Chia Pudding


This had got to be one of THE most satisfyingly delicious raw food breakfasts out there and what´s more it is so quick and easy to make.

I tend to double the recipe and make enough for a couple of days for wither a nutritiously balanced breakfast or healthy filling snack. 

In this recipe I´ve just used whatever was in the fridge but you can really add any type of fruits, nuts or seeds that you have in the cupboards to flavor the chia.

Just simply start by making the chia as a base and add the rest in as you go. Other than the original favorite banana and berry mix I also like to use a mix of fresh or frozen mango, pineapple, macadamia nuts and sunflower seeds.

As I say chia pudding is just so versatile it really just comes down to personal taste and what you´ve got in the cupboards.

For this simple recipe making one portion I used:

  • 3/4 cup of chia seeds
  • 1.5 cups of almond milk (you can use half milk half water or even fruit juice)
  • 1 banana
  • half cup of mixed berries 
  • 1/4 cup of sunflower seeds
  • 2 teaspoons of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 

Method:

First pour the seeds into a bowl (or tupppawear box if you´re making for the next day) then pour over the milk or whatever liquid mix you´ve chosen. Give it a good stir and pop in the fridge for 5 minutes.

Next wash a prepare your chosen fruit.

After 5 minutes take the chia from the fridge and I've it another good stir - of the mixture appears to be cloggy and forming clumps then add a little more liquid. 

Stir through your fruit, nuts or seeds and place back into the fridge for a further 10 minutes or overnight.

Sprinkle cinnamon and drizzle honey to serve!

Benefits:

Not only is chia pudding fool proof to make but its is so very good for you. The chia seeds themselves are proven to reduce blood pressure, are high in omega 3´s and although low in calories, are extremely filling due to the fact they are high in quality protein. All of this before you even add any fruit, nuts or seeds! 


Apple Pie Porridge - Raw Food Breakfast

Apple Porridge Raw Breakfast

This is another favorite of mine, as you can tell I do love my chia seeds. It is quick and easy to make plus it is super tasty!

With this recipe we gentle heat it to make it nice and warm when its time to eat.


Ingredients 

  • half a cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 3 dates chopped
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp chia pudding
  • 2 chopped pecans
  • half tsp cinnamon 
  • 1 green apple


Method

Combine all ingredient except the pecan nuts and apple. Then transfer all ingredients in a saucepan and gentle heat.

Make sure you don't go over 40 degrees.

Serve with the pecan nuts and fresh grated apple.

Benefits

This recipe is packed with goodness for your body and it will keep you feeling fuller for longer. 

This recipe is high in protein and essential fats.


Raw Banana Porridge 

Raw Banana Breakfast

If you love bananas like I do, you will love this recipe!

Really easy to prepare and the whole family can enjoy it.


Ingredients

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 2 regular bananas
  • 2 cups cashews
  • 4 dates
  • 1 cup almond milk

Method

Blend all ingredients in your food processor. Blend until smooth.

Chill for two hours.

Prior to serving, top with fresh raspberries and chopped cashews. 

Benefits

This is an ideal breakfast to have if you are looking to get a boost of energy throughout your day.

This recipe it high in protein, slow releasing carbohydrates and potassium.

Im sure you will enjoy this as much as I do! Have as a breakfast or a delicious pudding.
